Marlon has been an educator for more than 30 years and specialized in business education and teaching, urban youth entrepreneurial skills and practices. He is ecstatic about training youth to own their own business, use technology and develop strong leadership principles to prepare them for future opportunities.
He received his undergraduate degree in Business Education from Saint Paul’s College in Virginia, and a master’s degree in education Instruction at Central Michigan University presenting a Capstone project focusing on Strategies to Improve Academic Achievement in African American Males.
He has served as a department chair, facilitated three Industry Certifications, served as an FBLA Advisor for a thriving chapter and organized Career Expos at his local high school. Present he serve as serves as assistant for over 132 leaders in the Ministerial Alliance. He is the co-owner of ARVONNE Group LLC educational consulting.
Living just outside of Atlanta in Covington, GA; Marlon enjoys spending time with family, completing global mission projects, overseeing church’s community garden, serving his community, and riding motorcycles (waiting for it to materialize). When not engaged in the above, Marlon loves to travel with his wife, Sylvia. They have a son and daughter along with a grandson whom they love spending time with frequently.
